Norbury High School for Girls

Sixth Form Results Above National Average

Over half of A level students receive A*-B grades

Sixth form students at Norbury High were celebrating today after receiving their GCE A level and BTEC results.

Of those taking subjects at A level, 51% achieved grades of A*-B with 78% scoring A*-C (above the national average). Our students' overall pass rate remained high at 99%.

There were some exceptional individual performances with several full complements of A and B results; one hardworking student received outstanding grades of AAB in her A levels PLUS a Distinction* in her BTEC exam!

Most of these students will now be looking forward to going on to study at their first choice universities.

These results are reflective of the hard work and dedication of not only the students themselves but staff at the school, from senior leadership to support staff, as well as governors and supportive parents, whose input is highly valued.

We wish all our sixth formers well and look forward to hearing about their future adventures as they move on to the next stage in their learning journeys.
